These cupcakes were made for a pre-deployment party, and of course, the theme was red, white, and blue! The cupcakes were fluffy Dark Chocolate, topped with a creamy Vanilla Buttercream frosting.

I tried to multi-task while watching the LOST premiere. I put the frosting on, then LOST came back on…when I returned to my cake, it wouldn’t smooth out. Oh well. The office loved it anyway (German Chocolate cake with Coffee Chocolate Chip filling and Coffee Buttercream).
